What is the
polished concrete ?

Millimetric Waxed Concrete is a high quality professional self-leveling screed made from additives, aggregates and special cements. Millimetric concrete is a product that is both composite (a mixture of aggregates, cement, water and sand) and a mineralproduct, which can be used for multiple applications. The term ‘mortar’ can also be used to refer to waxed concrete. This mortar can thus present an ultra-smooth aspect called polished concrete, or a more textured finish with wood or glass inlay.

Waxed concrete can in some cases present a unique hue with the use of pigments to bring a personalized finish to your interior. Many choices of colors of polished concrete can be offered to you according to your expectations and the desired decoration for your accommodation.

Renowned for its resistance and waterproofing, waxed concrete lends itself to many uses and presents numerous assets, both in the technical aspect and in the decorative aspect of your walls and floors.

Millimetre-thick waxed concrete has unique adhesive properties, which is why it can be used on all horizontal surfaces (except parquet and linoleum).

One of the strengths of millimetre-thick waxed concrete is that it can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 30 mm. This means you can use it in many different rooms in your home.

My stone terrace was built in 2010, 14 years ago. It is still in perfect condition. Maintenance is easy at the end of each winter. To keep it looking like new, you need to reapply resin every 3 or 4 years. It's easy to apply using a brush for the edges and a roller for large areas. The only downside is that they can't be reused afterwards. I would definitely recommend it. The result is stunning and can be customized.
