What is an
outdoor resin floor?

Outdoor resin flooring is an innovative covering that transforms your outdoor spaces by combining natural beauty with exceptional technical performance. Composed of mineral aggregates (rolled marble, quartz, gravel) bound together by a high-performance resin, it creates a continuous, resistant surface with no visible joints that enhances your terraces, paths, pool surrounds and house entrances.

The aggregate consists of crushed and screened mineral aggregates, bound by a polyurethane or epoxy resin specially formulated for outdoor use. This binder guarantees the strength of the whole and ensures lasting resistance to weathering, frost, UV rays and heavy foot traffic. Applied in a layer 8 to 20 mm thick depending on the use, the resin forms a homogeneous surface that can withstand harsh weather conditions for many years.

Driveway resin: Specially designed for areas subject to vehicle traffic: driveways, outdoor car parks, courtyards and parking areas. This reinforced formula can withstand the weight of vehicles, repeated manoeuvring and mechanical stress without deforming or cracking.

Drainage resin: The benchmark solution for outdoor flooring. Composed of rolled marble aggregates (2 to 8 mm) agglomerated by a bio-based polyurethane resin, it creates a permeable surface that allows water to pass through naturally.

EPDM resin: A coating based on recycled rubber granules, ideal for creating safe play areas. A shock-absorbing, draining surface available in bright colours for playgrounds, relaxation areas around swimming pools or themed areas in your garden.

Our experts follow a rigorous professional process to guarantee a long-lasting, attractive result that meets your expectations.

Choosing the system and preparing the substrate

We work with you to analyse your project: intended use (pedestrian, vehicular), technical constraints (drainage, waterproofing), climate exposure and aesthetic preferences. We help you choose the type of resin (draining, waterproof, vehicular). The floor is then carefully cleaned, degreased and sanded if necessary to remove any contamination. Cracks are filled, damaged areas repaired and the surface levelled to create a perfectly stable base. A special primer is then applied to create the ideal interface between your substrate and the resin coating.

Application of exterior resin

Mineral aggregates are mixed with the resin in the exact proportions according to the chosen formulation. The mixture is spread evenly over the entire surface using professional tools, ensuring the thickness is suitable for your intended use.

Finishing and protection

Depending on the type of resin, a transparent UV-resistant finishing coat can be applied to permanently seal the coating and optimise its resistance to weathering. After the necessary curing time (24 to 72 hours depending on weather conditions), your outdoor resin floor is ready for use.
