The client wanted to transform this space into a modern and welcoming terrace, while ensuring effective drainage and resistance to the harsh northern weather.

Our intervention step by step
The work began with the precise demarcation of the terrace perimeter and an assessment of the condition of the existing substrate. Damaged paving stones and unstable areas were carefully removed. The substrate was then cleared of all debris, weeds and dirt to create a sound and stable base.
Le sol a été méticuleusement réglé, nivelé et compacté pour garantir une parfaite planéité et une stabilité durable dans le temps. Une pente légère a été intégrée pour favoriser l’écoulement naturel des eaux pluviales. Une fondation drainante a été mise en œuvre sur toute la surface, permettant une circulation optimale de l’eau et évitant toute stagnation qui pourrait endommager le revêtement ou la structure.
Un primaire d’accrochage adapté a d’abord été appliqué pour garantir l’adhérence parfaite du revêtement final. La moquette de pierre a ensuite été posée avec soin en associant deux teintes complémentaires : le beige rosé naturel pour la surface principale, créant une ambiance chaleureuse et lumineuse, et le noir ébano pour créer une bordure élégante et structurante qui délimite visuellement l’espace. Le mélange de granulats et de résine polyuréthane a été étalé uniformément sur 10 mm d’épaisseur, puis tiré et lissé avec précision pour assurer une surface homogène, confortable et parfaitement perméable.

Before our intervention, the surface was impractical, dangerous and unattractive, with loose paving stones and joints overgrown with vegetation. After installing our draining stone carpet, the terrace is unrecognisable: an elegant and modern surface in a warm pinkish beige, structured by a sophisticated ebony black border that adds character and contrast.
The transformation is not limited to aesthetics. The draining surface respects the natural water cycle by allowing precipitation to infiltrate naturally into the ground, while creating a stable, non-slip surface that is comfortable to walk on barefoot, allowing you to fully enjoy sunny days. No more repetitive weeding between paving stones, blackened joints or loose slabs: stone carpet forms a continuous, maintenance-free surface that retains its original appearance for over 10 years.
