What is the
stone carpet ?

Stone carpet, also known as marble carpet or natural stone flooring, is a modern floor solution that combines mineral aesthetics and high technical performance. It is composed of rolled natural aggregates, mainly marble but also quartz or other stones, bound by a biosourced resin based on castor oil, recognized for its robustness and durability.

The aggregates, carefully selected and calibrated, are assembled using a high-performance polyurethane resin. This formulation ensures excellent cohesion, high resistance to shocks and scratches, as well as optimal resistance against repeated passages. Installed on a thickness between 8 and 12 mm, the stone carpet creates a homogeneous and seamless coating, with a neat and contemporary look.

Thanks to its natural and elegant finish, the stone carpet is ideal for sublimating pool beaches. Suitable for both residential and professional projects, it fits perfectly around the basins and can be installed as new or in renovation.

Choose the granulate and color adapted to your pool deck in order to obtain an aesthetic, safe and harmonious look with your exterior. Our team assists you in selecting the most suitable shades and finishes for your project.

Preparation of the support

The existing surface around your pool (tile, concrete slab or raw support) is carefully prepared to ensure perfect adhesion of the coating. This step includes cleaning, degreasing, flatness control and, if necessary, the application of a primer.

A rigorous preparation of the support guarantees the durability and quality of your pool deck.

Installation and finishes

Our qualified applicators implement the stone carpet in a homogeneous layer of 8 to 12 mm, composed of aggregates and resin. After taloching, the surface achieves a smooth, non-slip and aesthetic finish.

The coating is dry in 24 hours and reaches its optimal strength after 7 days, ensuring you a durable and elegant pool deck for many years.

My stone terrace was built in 2010, 14 years ago. It is still in perfect condition. Maintenance is easy at the end of each winter. To keep it looking like new, you need to reapply resin every 3 or 4 years. It's easy to apply using a brush for the edges and a roller for large areas. The only downside is that they can't be reused afterwards. I would definitely recommend it. The result is stunning and can be customized.
