What is the
EPDM coating?

TheEPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a type of synthetic rubber that is widely used as flooring material due to its remarkable properties. Its application is possible on any type of ground and allows creating secure spaces for children and adults: at school, around the pool, on playgrounds and sports fields… for communities, professionals and private companies.

Considered resilient and durable, the EPDM coating, with a thickness of 10 mm to 110 mm, is renowned for its resistance to weather, UV, to oxidation, to acids and extreme temperaturess. Its unique composition allows great flexibility, even at low temperatures, thus offering excellent damping capacity and maximum safety.

This material is often used for playgrounds, sports fields and other outdoor surfaces, because it offers a non-slip surface easy to maintain. My stone terrace was built in 2010, 14 years ago. It is still in perfect condition. Maintenance is easy at the end of each winter. To keep it looking like new, you need to reapply resin every 3 or 4 years. It's easy to apply using a brush for the edges and a roller for large areas. The only downside is that they can't be reused afterwards. I would definitely recommend it. The result is stunning and can be customized.
